High Search Rankings

Well optimized websites that attract most traffic and enjoy great popularity are those that receive high search rankings from search engines. They are the websites that appear first on the search result pages of the search engine. Different algorithms are used by Google to give the ranking, and although content relevance and traffic are essential, they are not the only ones involved in the process. Let us refer to the three major elements that can get high search rankings for a certain website.

Links from other websites that are somehow related to yours by domain play a great part here. Also known as backlinks, these URLs reflect the popularity of your pages with other users. Take this as a reference system, and I’ll give you a relevant example here. Let’s say we have a site A and a site B. Site A has only 10 backlinks pointing to it, while site B has 50 backlinks. Google will index both, but site B gets a higher page rank because of the number of backlinks that indicate popularity. Look into article marketing for improving the number of backlinks, the traffic level and thus get high search rankings.

Traffic is directly related with the number of backlinks. If you have links on 50 or 100 websites, all the visitors to those websites can click on the link to your website and thus land on your page.
